Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Jalapenos
16 jalapeno peppers
8-16 slices of bacon (can use whole or 1/2 per jalapeno)
8 oz cream cheese
1 Tbl minced fresh garlic
1 Tbl brown sugar
1-2 Tbl Chopped Red Bell Pepper (for color)
Mix cream cheese with garlic and brown sugar in a bowl.
Core the jalapenos and make sure seeds are removed.
Fill jalapenos with cream cheese mixture.
Wrap each jalapeno with a slice (or ½ slice) of bacon
Secure with a toothpick and set upright in a jalapeno tray over a cookie sheet.
Top with chopped red bell pepper (optional)
Cook until the bacon is crispy and cooked through.
