Strawberry mouse cake

How to make strawberry mouses cake

Ingredients Crust:

  • 60 gr of flour
  • 30 gr butter
  • 60 gr of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F
  2. In a mixing bowl whisk the eggs and the sugar. Bit till it triples in size
  3. Fold in the flour, baking powder and salt
  4. Fold in the melted butter
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown 

 

Fraisier / Raspberry Mousse Cake

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 pints of strawberries
  • 150 gr of sugar
  • 350 ml of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 pack of gelatin

Recipe:

  1. Rinse and remove all the stems from the strawberries
  2. Combine in a sauce pan 1 pint of strawberries with the sugar. Bring it to a gentle boil for 10 minutes. Then blend with an immersion blender
  3. Add the gelatine a little at a time and mix well
  4. Put it to cool in the fridge or in an ice bath
  5. Whip the cream into whipped cream
  6. Fold the whipped cream with the cooled strawberry coolie
  7. Layer the cake starting with one cake, place a few strawberries, add about half the cream,
  8. Add another layer of the cake, place strawberries and the resto the cream
  9. Put to rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
  10. Decorate with more strawberries and put back in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours before serving
