Four Grand Mere, a manufacturer of wood-fired ovens, imported and distributed through Bread Stone Ovens, LLC in North America, warrants the products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for:
– a period of ten (10) year from the date of shipment for residential ovens
– a period of three (3) year from the date of shipment for commercial ovens on the floor and five (5) year on the dome for static floor ovens
– a period of one (1) year on the stand, rotating mechanism and a three (3) year on the dome and floor for the rotating floor ovens
– a period of three (3) year on the floor, dome and fire chamber for the bakery ovens
All assembly, stucco, tile and metal finish are warranted for (1) year from the date of fabrication.
Qualifications to the Warranty
The complete warranty is further subject to the following:
The oven must be installed in accordance with the Four Grand Mere and Bread Stone Ovens, LLC installation instructions, your local building codes, and any other governing authorities.
Moisture and water infiltration can cause significant damage to the oven. Therefore, the enclosure (stone, brick, stucco, etc.) that surrounds the oven must be sealed and weatherproof. Failure to properly enclose the oven will void this warranty.
The oven is subjected to normal use, including burning natural non-treated hard wood fuels. Fuel products with abnormal burning characteristics including, but not limited to, fuel such as driftwood, plywood, wood finish and wood products using a binder, may burn at excessive temperatures and may cause damage to the oven or may cause it to function improperly. Using such wood will void the warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. All refractory materials will form small cracks over time, especially in the back of the oven. These cracks will not affect the performance of the oven. Items such as but not limited to sprocket wheels and bearings may wear out faster depending on usage.
This warranty does not apply to any rusting that may develop on any metal parts, such as but not limited to the door or the flue connector and its damper. We recommend that you maintain and paint the door, with a high heat resistant paint, about once a year or as needed. Always remove the door and paint away from any fire. Always follow the instructions provided by the paint manufacturer.
All rotating ovens and ovens equipped with a gas burner are for indoor installation only.
This warranty does not apply to any cracking caused by over-firing and or the failure to follow a proper curing schedule as outlined in the Installation Guide and User Manual supplied with your oven.
For mobile application, this warranty does not cover damage resulting from a poor truck and or trailer design such as but not limited to excess vibration, insufficient support, and bad oven placement.
Any IN-WARRANTY whole oven or component which is defective in material or workmanship will be either repaired or replaced as follows:
This LIMITED WARRANTY does NOT cover products which have been damaged as the result of accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installations, improper maintenance or failure to operate in accordance with Bread Stone Ovens, LLC’s written instructions.
These LIMITED WARRANTIES do not extend to anyone except the first purchaser and only when the oven is in the original installation site.
All Four Grand Mere ovens are shipped by a third-party carrier.
The client is welcome to use the shipping company of their choice. While standard insurance is provided by the carrier, additional insurance can be purchased at the client’s request.
Shipment is only provided for our client’s convenience and Bread Stone Ovens, LLC cannot be held accountable for any damage during shipping.
All shipments become the client’s responsibility once it has left the Bread Stone Ovens, LLC warehouse.
Bread Stone Ovens, LLC is not responsible for properly securing the load inside the truck or trailer provided by the shipping company.
When receiving your order, open the crate and inspect it carefully. Do not sign any documents until you have ensured everything is in good condition. If your item has been damaged, notify the driver, record the damage on the shipping receipt, and have the driver sign it, or by refusing the delivery.
Limitation on Liability
It is expressly agreed and understood that Four Grand Mere’s sole obligation and purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty, under any other warranty, expressed or implied, otherwise, shall be limited to replacement, repair, or refund, as specified above. In no event shall Four Grand Mere and Bread Stone Ovens, LLC be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages caused by defects in its products, whether such damage occurs or is discovered before or after replacement or repair, and whether or not such damage is caused by Four Grand Mere’s and Bread Stone Ovens, LLC negligence. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The duration of any implied warranty with respect to this oven is limited to the duration of the foregoing warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above may not apply to you.
Investigation of Claims Against Warranty
Four Grand Mere and Bread Stone Ovens, LLC reserve the right to investigate any and all claims against this warranty and to decide upon the method of settlement.
Dealers have no authority to alter this warranty.
Four Grand Mere and Bread Stone Ovens, LLC employees and authorized dealers have no authority to make any warranties, nor to authorize any remedies in addition to or inconsistent with those stated above.
How to Register a claim Against Warranty
In order for any claim under this warranty to be valid, Bread Stone Ovens, LLC must be notified of the claimed defect in writing at info@breadstoneovens.com or by telephone (469-484-4990). Written claims against this warranty should include the date of installation and a description of the defect.
All trailers, refrigeration, motor, gas burners and other equipment manufactured by a third party other than Four Grand Mere and Bread Stone Ovens, LLC are warrantied through the manufacturer. A warranty registration document is provided with each unit by the manufacturer. It is your responsibility to register your equipment according to the manufacturer policy and terms of service.
For all warranty claim, a certified technician, approved explicitly by and only by the manufacture, must provide an estimate for the repair(s). The estimate must be approved in writing by the manufacturer prior to any repairs being performed. Repairs performed by non approved technician or and without prior written approval will not be covered under the warranty and may void the warranty all together.
Under no circumstances Bread Stone Ovens, LLC can be held responsible for the warranty of any of its manufacturer and or suppliers.
