    Traditional Baker's Couche or "Couche de Boulanger"

    Our Baker's Couche is made from natural, untreated, flax fibers and is imported from France.

    This unique natural fiber gives baguettes the chewy and crunchy crust you have been longing for.

    Simply place the shaped dough in the folds of the floured cloth; when risen, roll them onto a peel, then into your wood fired brick oven.

    This "Couche de Boulanger" is used by Traditional Artisan bread bakers to create their fabulous flavorful and crunchy breads.

    The Baker's Couche can be used for baguettes, long bread loaves, personal bread balls, or in a proofing wicker basket.

    For best results never wash your Baker's Couche. Simply brush or shake flour off the fabric when done and let it dry flat before storing.

    Once dry, scrape off any dried dough. Roll the fabric and store in a dry place.
