Spiced Peach Crisp with Crumb Topping

Wood Fired Oven Peach Crisp Dessert

Ingredients

6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
2 tbs orange juice
1/3 c + 3 tbs packed brown sugar, divided
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon, divided (1/4 and 1/2 tsp)
4 tbs butter, melted
2/3 c + 1 tbs flour
Confectioners sugar for serving (optional)
Recipe Steps
Preheat 350 F
1 Peel and slice peaches
2 Lightly grease bottom of large cast iron skillet (butter is ok)
3 Place sliced peaches in a bowl and pour in orange juice, 3 tbs of brown sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon . Gently stir.
4 Pour in peach mixture into the prepared skillet forming an even layer
5 In another bowl, mix 1/3 c brown sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and stir. Pour in melted butter, combine, then add flour.
6 Mix all together until small to medium sized crumbs form. Using hands, crumble on top of peaches
7 Bake 30-40 minutes until bubbling and crumb topping slightly browned.
8 Sprinkle with confectioners sugar if desired before serving
