Caramelized Banana Upside Down Cake
3 tbl butter, melted
6 tbl brown sugar
1-2 bananas, sliced
1/4 c butter, softened
3/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
3/4 c all purpose flour
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp sea salt
1/4 c milk
350 F Preheated oven Grease springform pan w/butter place on a cookie sheet
Mix melted butter and brown sugar together, spread on bottom of pan
Top with sliced bananas
In small bowl mix butter and sugar until mixed
Beat in egg and vanilla
In separate bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to butter/sugar mixture and mix. Then stir in milk.
Spread the batter evenly over the bananas
Bake in oven 40-45 min till top golden.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Invert onto a plate.
